Exterior locations
This is a shot of Thamesmead in Greenwich. We used this location as the setting as it seemed like a normal place to live, however with the lakes and streams it added that extra tense edge needed for the thriller genre of our film.
This is an exterior shot of the house we used for most of the interior scenes. We chose this house as it was a normal house, not out of the ordinary to fit with the script for the film.
This is a shot of Starbucks coffee shop where we plan on filming the time lapse.
This is Woolwich train station in Greenwich where we were going to film the train scenes. However we decided it would be more practical to film the scenes on a bus. The change of location made no difference to our script or story.
This is Bexleyheath church. We filmed the church scenes at this location. The reason we chose this church is because of how grand it looks with historical features that really added to the intensity of the scenes.
This is the interior of one of the bedrooms. We used this room as it was plain and simple and quite dreary to add to the feel of the film.
Props
This is a close up of the alcohol bottles and pills used in the film. We used some full and some empty to add verisimilitude.
The knife that was used was a standard kitchen knife. This was chosen as the prop as we wanted to demonstrate to the audience that although the murder was premeditated, the chracter Jane was completly normal until she picked up the knife.
We scattered the bottles around Jane on the bed in keeping with the script.
Before shooting began we smashed some of the bottles to show the characters anger and to give the real life feeling and scattered the glass on the bedroom floor where the character was drinking.
Unloading the props on location
The spare wedding dress. We decided not use this wedding dress as the other one we used was more traditional and full length creating verisimilitude.
This is the wedding dress that was used in the film. As you can see it is full length, the top half being lace.
Setting up the camera, dolly and track ready to begin filming.
Before filming began, research was conducted on how we wanted the character's make up and hair to look. These are some of the images we found for inspiration:
Applying the make-up on set
This is the finished result for our character Jane:
Here is some of the make-up that we used to create the look. We used well known make up brands; including Max Factor ('The make-up of make-up atrists').

Risk assessment
In order to book the church as one of our locations we wrote to the church requesting permission to film. This is a copy of the letter.
